FUN(d)RAISER FOR F.O.O.D. this coming Tuesday at LITTLE MOUNTAIN GALLERY on 26th + Main.

This is an (almost) ALL DAY event, ALL AGES, with Food & Drink (by donation), Performances, Story-Telling, Interpretive Dance (if you wish), Inappropriate Jokes, Impromptu Singing etc.

F.O.O.D. (the Federation for the Organization of Open Desire) is a Benevolent Society in Formation, currently based in the Free Village Republik of Eastern Van(Terminal)City, Coast-Salish Territories, on the Western Coast of Turtle Island.

We will present the F.O.O.D. project and what we are raising funds for (essentially, we are on the verge of securing a lease on a SWEET space in rustic East Vancouver), while the People converge, eat, imbibe (possibly Brewmastered Ales) and workshop ideas and perhaps decide to join the folds of F.O.O.D.

There'll be 2 time slots of Music + Performance: starting round 3-ish to 6, then 6 til closing, some of your favourite (or as-yet unknown) friends will take the stage.

Friends, we need Musicians, Chefs, Bakers, Masseurs, Yogis, Poets, Dads, Moms, Childrens, Boys, Girls, Journalists, Photo- and Painter-Graphers, Film-Makers, Shoe-Cobblers, Electricians, Demolition-Persons, Bus-Drivers, Baristahs, Contractors, Estimators, Carpenters, Cabinet-Makers, Yarn-Bombers, Dancers, B-GirlBoys, any Dudette and Dude to step up whenever to donate time, energy, passion, care, commitment, curiosity, talent and sweat into this project.

Our target to raise by end of month is $2600 to secure a lease on a space. $225,000 longer term (this year) to secure a LAND-TRUST in the Free Village Republik of Eastern Vancouver.
