Here are the liner notes in the DVD (that was shot live over 3 days in Berlin): In February 2000 The Real McKenzies arrived in Berlin. Paul and Matt found themselves in a local bar. Within a matter of hours they had consumed the entire stock of Jägermeister and made the first of many friends. Over the next 9 years many other bars served countless pints, shots, drams and cocktails. Wild at Heart, SO36, The Clash, Tommy Weissbecker Haus, the Franken, Kato, the Trinkteufel, the Tiki Bar, the Milchbar are just a few of the Berlin nightspots where the McKenzies played and drank with friends. The special relationship between the McKenzies and Berliners continues with a trail of spilled drinks, half empty beers, soiled kilts, pools of vomit and tracks of dogshit. And with lots of laughter, hugs and kisses the love affair will continue for many years to come. As Paul says: We didn‘t choose Berlin……… Berlin chose us!!!
